Terms & Conditions
Last updated: July 24, 2026
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Sprig app, website, and related services (the “Service”), operated by Sprig Learning, Inc. By creating an account or using the Service, the account-holding adult agrees to these Terms on their own behalf and on behalf of any child profile added to the account.
1. Who can hold an account
An account may only be created and managed by someone 18 or older. Children use the Service through a profile added by that adult, and never create their own account or provide payment information.
2. Your subscription
- Sprig offers a free tier with limited activities and an optional paid subscription that unlocks the full library.
- Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled beforehand through your device’s app store or account settings.
- Prices are shown before purchase and may change with notice; changes will not apply to a billing period you’ve already paid for.
- Refunds are handled according to the policy of the app store you purchased through (Apple App Store or Google Play).
3. Acceptable use
As the account holder, you agree not to:
- Use the Service for any purpose other than personal, non-commercial family learning.
- Attempt to copy, decompile, or reverse-engineer any part of the app.
- Circumvent parental controls or age-appropriate content settings.
- Use an account to collect data on children other than those in your own care.
4. Content and ownership
All stories, activities, characters, illustrations, and software that make up Sprig are owned by Sprig Learning, Inc. or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal family use. Artwork or stories a child creates within the app remain visible to your account and can be exported by the account holder at any time.
5. Parental responsibility
The account-holding adult is responsible for supervising a child’s use of connected devices, for the accuracy of information provided when creating a child profile, and for managing screen time using the controls Sprig provides.
6. Service availability
We aim to keep Sprig available at all times but don’t guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, suspend, or retire features as we improve the Service, and we’ll try to give reasonable notice of any change that significantly affects your experience.
7. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from account settings. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms, misuses the Service, or poses a risk to other users, and will make reasonable efforts to notify you first except where immediate action is needed for safety or security.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is.” Sprig is an educational supplement, not a substitute for formal schooling or professional evaluation of a child’s development. To the extent permitted by law, Sprig Learning, Inc. is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the Service, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is material, we’ll notify the account-holding parent by email or in-app notice before it takes effect. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Sprig Learning, Inc. is incorporated, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless local consumer protection law provides otherwise.
